This beautiful 2K Oscar Schmidt ukulele was made in the 1920's out of golden curly Hawaiian Koa wood. This rare early model was known for the misspelling of the word Hawaiian by dropping one i and spelling it "Hawaian" As can be seen in the photos this ukulele is in good condition for being close to 100 years old. This lithe ukulele plays even better than it looks and it has one of the best actions of any ukulele of its age and it has a bright pleasing tone.
Condition report; One repaired top crack, one repaired back crack. Note at one time someone had put modern mechanical tuners on it and when they were replaced with correct period friction tuners small screw holes were left.
