This Sam Chang Tenor Ukulele with very rare cutaway and pin bridge was made in the late 1920's. Sam was known for making some of the best playing and sounding ukuleles of that era and this Tenor is a great example of that, it has a fast smooth action with a near spot on intonation and it has a bright rich tone. I have been collecting ukuleles for nearly 40 years and I have never seen any other cutaway from the 1920's, this could be the first use of a cutaway on a ukulele.
