In 1965 Sam Kamaka designed and made the bell shaped concert size ukulele for Legendary ukulele virtuoso Herb Ohta, this beautiful Ohta-San ukulele was hand made by Sam Kamaka in August of 1971 it has a plaque on the headstock " Ohta-San Model No. 70-50 this plaque was on it when I acquired it and it looks like it was put on by the factory at time of manufacture and the case is also believed to be the original one that came with it. As expected this is an amazing ukulele it plays and sounds amazing.
