This very rare 1st Mod. Hawaiian Koa Johnny Marvin "Professional Tenor" ukulele was one of the very first pre production models to be released, note the "Patent Pending" stamp on the Air Plane bridge. Other early features include the use of high grade curly Hawaiian Koa wood for the entire body and what appears to be Coconut wood for the neck, also gold binding is sandwiched with white and black.
